Psychiatric Diagnostics

Yolanda is a consultant in General Adult and Community Psychiatry, based in St Ita's Hospital, Portrane and covering the sector of Darndale. She completed a Masters degree in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy (Freudian/Lacanian) from UCD in 2004. Her thesis was based on an analytic perspective of borderline personality disorder. She also has an interest in working with people with medically unexplained symptoms and she ran a special psychotherapy clinic working these patients. Yolanda is also involved as psychotherapy tutor with trainees in psychiatry.
