Road, Dublin 8 Sarah McAuley is a psychoanalyst in clinical practice in Dublin who, since 1994, has been fascinated by the last frontier- the ethereal but often tragically real ghostlike world of the unconscious and how 'It' insists on being heard despite our best efforts not to know.
In this clinical workshop she will share her experience of the effects of the "psychic parent" or "phantom parent" and open a discussion on the contemporary relevance of the Freudian superego in the Irish context.
